PARTNERSHIPS ARE BEING FORMED TO HELP SOLVE…
THE AT-RISK OLDER DRIVER PROBLEM

Associate Partner Testimonials

As an Occupational Therapist, I get referrals for driving evaluations and doctors seek my input when a client asks about driving. The outpatient facility I work in does not have the staff or resources for a complete driving program, but by teaming up with a certified driving instructor, we have the best of both.

We, the OTs, perform the clinical portion, and the driving instructor completes the vehicle evaluation eliminating any potential for liability issues. Clients receive a full evaluation, including clinical and on-road assessment.

As a CODE-CCDE partner, I use their software to input client data prior to the driving evaluation. You also have access to the client’s final report.

We here at HPRC and St Francis Rehab are thrilled to be able to offer such a valuable service to our clients.  We have so many wonderful clients that are still independent but need a thorough evaluation of their skills and safety. Being a CODE-CCDE provider, our Physical and Occupational Therapists have the expertise to provide this valuable service. The revenue has been a wonderful addition as a practice owner and with very limited expenditures to enroll in the system. This has provided a fantastic bridge for new clients as they are referred for an evaluation and frequently will follow up with care for the deficits found in the evaluation/screen. I highly recommend this system for new providers as an additional revenue stream, marketing extension, and most of all a needed service for our communities and clients.

Referring Partner Testimonial

Columbus Memory Center’s primary mission is to help sufferers of Alzheimer’s disease maintain independence while maximizing safety. The CODE Program has been an invaluable contributor to this goal, by evaluating our patients’ driving skills. This service has the added benefit of removing the family and medical team from the decision making process which helps maintain these important relationships.
